New to LSC?
Here’s how a rec season works for most families:
- Start with rec. Rec soccer is for every child U5 to U12, with no try-out and no experience needed.
- Register online through TeamSnap. How to register
- Your child joins a team from your area, placed by age group.
- Practices and games start. Your coach sets practice times, and games are usually on Saturday mornings. Your team’s schedule is in TeamSnap.
- Finish with the Romp ’n Stomp, the club’s own end-of-season tournament.
Parent guides

- Weather & cancellations: how to find out whether a game is on
- Forms: where to find each form
- Questions and answers: the questions parents ask most
- Laws of the game: how the rules change by age
LSC United families: United has its own pages for try-outs, teams and fees & travel. Where the answer differs from rec, the guides above say so.
