Romp ’n Stomp

The Romp ’n Stomp is the club’s end-of-season festival and tournament, every June and October: hundreds of kids, every age group, one big day at Myles Kimmerly Park in Maple City.

The day itself

The youngest play just for fun; U10 and U12 teams traditionally play for 1st- and 2nd-place medals. It’s a big day: more than 530 players in fall 2024, helped by 73 volunteer coaches, referees and parents. The club’s volunteers put up the tent, run the fields and help referee the games.

What to bring

It’s a long day outside, so bring chairs, sunscreen and water.

Cleat swap

Kids outgrow cleats fast, so the Romp has a cleat and shoe swap under the club’s tent. Bring clean cleats or shoes your child has outgrown, and take home a pair that fits. In 2024, used gear also went to Kids First Uganda, a charity.

Lost and found

With hundreds of kids on the fields, things get left behind. Lost and found items are posted on the club’s Facebook page after each event to be confirmed.

Help out

The Romp ’n Stomp only happens because parents coach, referee, set up and clean up. See how to volunteer, or read about past Romp ’n Stomps.
