If you’re not sure whether a practice or game is on, ask your child’s coach.
Thunder and lightning
The club’s rule, for every rec and LSC United game and practice:
- Play stops at the first sound of thunder or sight of lightning.
- Play can restart 30 minutes after the last thunder or lightning.
- Every new flash or rumble restarts the 30 minutes.
Coaches talk with each other and with the referees so everyone stops and restarts together.

Dress for it
Fall and spring in Northern Michigan can be cold, wet and windy, and spring dates depend on the weather. Send layers, a jacket and a dry change of clothes. See Game day for what else to bring.
