How to sign your child up for Leelanau Soccer Club rec soccer, LSC United try-outs and summer camps.

Rec soccer sign-up is online through TeamSnap, once before fall and once before spring.

Register for Rec Soccer

Rec soccer is open to every child U5 to U12. There’s no try-out, and no experience is needed.

Fall 2026 registration closed on August 21, 2026. Spring registration usually opens between late January and mid-February and closes on a Friday in mid- to late March. We post the dates here and on Facebook as soon as they’re set.

  • The form: a new TeamSnap form opens each season, and the link goes here when it does. You’ll You’ll need a TeamSnap sign-in.
  • Born: August 1, 2014 to July 31, 2022
  • Cost: $35–$90, depending on age group. Fee table
  • Spring discount: sign up for spring during fall registration for a discounted rate; the discount ends in October.
  • Choose: the full season, fall only or spring only. Fall and spring each have their own registration form.
  • Special player requests are usually due by the registration deadline.

How it works

  1. Pick your area: Suttons Bay, Leland, Glen Lake (Maple City), Northport and Elmwood. Your child plays on a team from that area.
  2. Fill in the TeamSnap form. If the cost is hard for your family, the club offers discounts and scholarships for families in need: ask through the club’s Facebook page.
  3. Your child is placed on a team by area and age group.
  4. Your coach will be in touch with the practice time, one evening a week. Your team’s schedule is in TeamSnap.

Try out for LSC United

For players U9 to U16 who want more competitive soccer. United is by try-out, not registration. Try-outs are usually early to mid-June for the next season, with a smaller try-out in January for spring places. To try out, every player registers first, on a TeamSnap form that’s new for each try-out and posted with its announcement on Facebook. How try-outs work
