More on how age groups work.

The youngest players, in the U5 All-Star Academy, sign up one season at a time, with no full-season price. It’s an introduction to organized sport and moving well, with very little real “game” play. What they wear: no uniform; each player gets a T-shirt. If your child is on the edge between U5 and U6 and you’re not sure which fits better, ask us through the club’s Facebook page.

Games and practices

Every rec coach is a volunteer, usually a parent. Your coach sets the practice day, one evening a week. Games are once a week, usually on Saturday mornings. Your team’s times are in TeamSnap.

The Romp ’n Stomp is the club’s own tournament, held twice a year, at the end of the fall and spring rec seasons, at Myles Kimmerly Park in Maple City. Every age group plays, and U10 and U12 teams traditionally play for 1st- and 2nd-place medals.

Want more soccer?

Players U9 to U16 who want extra practice and tournaments can try out for LSC United. It’s an add-on: U9 and U10 United players can still play rec, at no extra charge.
