Our Core program
Development begins at the recreational level from a young age. It’s never too early to get kids involved with team sports in a safe, inviting and FUN environment. Our goal for players participating in our Fall and Spring recreational programs is to build a love for the game of soccer. Players will have a lot of fun and learn a lot in a relaxed environment!
Fall Soccer
Our Fall program runs each year beginning after Labor Day and typically runs for 7-8 weeks. The season culminates with our Fall Romp 'n Stomp tournament!
Spring Soccer
Spring soccer typically is underway by the end of April each year after the snow melts! The rec season will typically run about 8 weeks and also culminates with our Spring Romp 'n Stomp tournament!
Volunteer
Lend a helping hand and help us build our core program by becoming a coach, team manager, area coordinator, field manager and more!
League Structure
LSC Soccer Club is currently offering the following age divisions:
- U5 (All-Star Academy)
- U6
- U8
- U10
- U12
Placement on teams is based on your selected area team and your child’s birth year. Games are scheduled once per week during the season, typically on Saturday.
Coaching & Practices
At the recreational level, all of our coaches are volunteers putting in work for the benefit of our kids. We strive to make sure that all of our coaches are supported so that they have the tools to deliver a quality experience for all of the LSC players. We have many great session plans for our coaches, an experienced Director of Coaching and we pay for interested coaches to pursue national training.
Practices are scheduled and run by the discretion of each coach. Depending on the age of your child, you will likely have a scheduled practice 1 – 2 nights per week.
Scholarships
Our goal is to allow every child who is interested in participating the opportunity to play! Our programs are modestly priced and money should not be a factor. We offer discounts and scholarships for families in need. Please contact an Area Coordinator for more information about scholarships!
